ACCORDO GOLDEN LEAGUE - MMA-ITALY

Siglato accordo tra MMA-ITALY e GOLDEN LEAGUE. Tale accordo prevede che MMA-ITALY organizzerà il matchmaking per i match di MMA negli eventi organizzati dalla Golden League, offrendo la possiblità di combattere ad atleti emergenti ed anche più esperti in un circuito PRO di MMA a contatto pieno. Marco Costaguta (il .........Marco Costaguta (il grande campione di sport da ring, oggi noto promoter) e MMA Italy (il circuito emergente nel panorama delle MMA italiane) annunciano un accordo per la stagione sportiva 2007-2008.
L'intesa prevede che sarà MMA Italy a gestire il match making dei combattimenti di MMA nelle 10 tappe della Golden League fight network, il Nuovo Circuito degli Sport da combattimento promosso dallo stesso Costaguta e dal Maestro Carlo Barbuto di Torino (le date e le sedi delle 10 tappe sono disponibili sul fondo di questa pagina e presto nel calendario).
Si tratterà di una serie di eventi pro a livello internazionale con tutti gli sport da Ring (savate, k1, thai boxe, full contact, boxe pro, arti marziali ed appunto MMA Pro) con la partecipazione delle migliori scuole Mondiali. Il tutto supportato dalle televisioni, radio, giornali e riviste del settore.
In ogni tappa verranno poi inseriti anche alcuni combattimenti dilettantistici nei quali potranno mettersi in luce i giovani talenti nostrani. Il tutto mentre i più esperti, combattendo contro dei pro stranieri, potranno dimostrare di essere pronti per le più prestigiose ribalte continentali e non solo.
Costaguta, che già da diversi anni dava spazio alle MMA nel suo Kombat Festival conferma con questa iniziativa la sua volontà di dare il giusto spazio a queste discipline.

Per contro i vertici di MMA Italy si sono detti estremamente soddisfatti dell'accordo. 'Conferma le linee guida del nostro circuito - hanno dichiarato Basilio Tazio e Guido Colombo - ovvero collaborare su un piano di parità con chiunque voglia far crescere le MMA in Italia. È inoltre la naturale evoluzione del nostro progetto, volto a creare un solido movimento per queste discipline nel nostro Paese.'
Siamo partiti con l'attività amatoriale di base per poi passare al contatto pieno ed ora arriviamo ai combattimenti internazionali ed all'attività pro, coprendo in questo modo ogni tipo di esigenza.
Non da ultimo, daremo una visibilità fin ora sconosciuta agli atleti italiani di MMA sui ring di casa nostra.
Basti dire che all’edizione 2008 del Kombat festival, l'evento clou promosso ogni anno da Costaguta a Genova, erano presenti oltre mille spettatori paganti. Una vetrina importante dunque, per tutti quegli atleti che si proporranno per combattere in questo circuito.
Le selezioni per gli appuntamenti del prossimo autunno sono già aperte. La precedenza verrà naturalmente concessa a chi si è già cimentato negli eventi targati MMA Italy, a cominciare dai campionati italiani del prossimo 14 giugno a Pieve Emanuele (MI), in collaborazione con WFC Italia.
